Did you know that burnout is now an official medical diagnosis?

We all deserve so much more than we give so freely to others. It's time we prioritized giving to ourselves.

Join me and other like-minded women for a weekend retreat to rest, reflect, and recharge.

A lowkey, yet highly curated weekend for Black/Latina/Indigenous women to pour into ourselves; it is time for us to give to ourselves what we so easily give to others. This is time and space for us to focus on preserving our energy and reconnecting with our femininity, as well as our creative practices, so that that we can better serve our selves + respective communities.

What to expect:

  • Sisterhood

  • Storytelling

  • Workshops

  • Guided self-reflection (Journaling)

  • Activities/games/challenges (geared towards creating routines, healthy self-dialogue, making time to cultivate your craft, etc)

  • Walk away with: a clear vision and plan for a sustainable self-care + creative practice

This is for you if you are:

  • a Black/Latina/Indigenous woman;

  • looking to create and cultivate community with other like-minded women

  • invested in taking actionable steps towards your healing, growth, and elevation

  • committed to showing up for yourself + interested in learning about/creating a sustainable self-care routine

  • willing to do the work to find yourself/reconnect with your purpose

  • ready to begin a beautiful journey of healing, and staying whole

Funding for scholarships to attend has been provided by the City of Toronto through the Toronto Arts Council and ArtReach.

The retreat was well organized and…[thoughtful]...It was a much needed pause from 'real life' and an opportunity to take a step back and examine several areas of my life.

I gained meaningful connections, and the opportunity to rest and recharge. Thank you very much for this experience and I look forward to future retreats!

Although available, there are only a limited number of scholarships spots. If you a willing and able to make the financial investment (freeing up a spot for a sister who is unable to) let us know by sending us an email below!

We invest in ourselves and each other, because we are worthy.
